Leadership
Leadership is the ability to influence others to go in a particular direction and achieve a particular goal

There are three kinds of leadership styles:
- Authoritarian/Autocratic Leadership
- Democratic Leadership
- Laissez-faire Leadership
Motivation
Motivation is the willingness of people to work hard and contribute their best effort
There are two important theories of motivation:
- Maslow's hierarchy of needs
- McGregor's X and Y Theory
Communication
Communication
is the transferring of information from a sender to a receiver and receiving
feedback that the message has been understood
Management has a central role to play in ensuring that messages are always communicated clearly and accurately. The manager is at the centre of the communication wheel.
Communication in business can be External or Internal.
External Communication refers to communication with people outside the organisation.
Internal Communication refers to communication between people within an organisation.
